Design-led research:
We create the conditions for people to share openly and honestly. Because many times people don’t have the words to articulate their needs, we make our questions tangible - be it a sketch or a simulated user experience.
We embed research throughout various phases of our work to ensure that our clients are ‘designing the right thing’ and ‘designing the thing right.’ We are fluent in conducting research to both explore the problem and validate our design hypotheses through user testing.
We take no one person’s word as gospel. We interrogate everything we hear in through rigorous synthesis designed to remove bias and challenge assumptions in order to reach a crystal clear customer truth (the what) and opportunity to address it (the how).

Every prototype, no matter the finality, is always rooted in a well researched hypothesis. Without a question to explore, a prototype is just a pretty artefact with no reason to exist.
There’s no ‘right’ way to solve a complex problem. By using prototyping to simulate the future we can gain confidence that a design best fits the needs of the customer and the business.
Prototyping should not be exclusive to digital because in reality products and services don’t operate in silos. The best prototype are the ones that explore a hypothesis through multiple mediums (e.g. tools, roles, processes and space) to get to the best answers for your business.
